Mit Sadeh21 bringt die Batsheva Dance Company eines der bekanntesten Werke von Ohad Naharin nach Karlsruhe. Das Stück entfaltet sich als intensives Bühnenerlebnis aus Bewegung, Beziehung und Gegenbewegung: Nähe kippt in Distanz, Harmonie in Konfrontation, Ruhe in eruptive Energie. Die Produktion gilt als eine der markantesten Arbeiten des Ensembles und wird international für ihre choreografische Wucht und die radikale Klarheit der Körpersprache geschätzt.
Zart und explosiv zugleich: Ohad Naharin fordert seine Tänzer:innen heraus, mit extremen Bewegungen die Komplexität menschlicher Emotionen zu erfassen. In Sadeh21 verwandeln die Tänzer:innen der Batsheva Dance Company ihre Bewegungen in einen überwältigenden Fluss aus getanzten Bildern. Der Titel bedeutet auf Hebräisch „Feld“ – im Sinne einer offenen, zunächst leeren Fläche, die von den Tänzer:innen durch Körper, Raum und Bewegung immer wieder neu beschrieben wird.
Aus diesem Feld heraus entwickelt Ohad Naharin eine Choreografie, die die Dynamik von Soli, Duetten und Gruppenchoreografien erkundet, in der sich klare Linien und Formationen ständig in überraschende, natürliche Unordnung auflösen. Die Körper der 18 Tänzer:innen durchdringen die Luft, messerscharf und zugleich fragil, während sie sich an die äußersten Grenzen der Beweglichkeit wagen.
